Councillor Kay Peacock, now serving her fourth term as Mayor of Usk, is a long‑standing and dedicated community leader with deep roots in the town. Born and raised in Llanbadoc, Kay has spent her life championing local causes, strengthening community spirit, and working tirelessly to support residents of all ages.

Throughout her mayoral service, Kay has focused on improving local amenities, enhancing opportunities for young people, and ensuring Usk remains a welcoming, vibrant place to live. Her current fundraising priorities reflect this commitment, supporting the Ted Senior Foundation, Ty Hafan, and the Usk Pump Track project — initiatives that promote wellbeing, resilience, and safe, active spaces for children and young people to thrive.

Known for her approachable, compassionate nature, Kay works closely with residents, community groups, and volunteers, always ready to listen and act on local concerns.
